Rich Mix will play host to quarterly film festival Sunday Screenings this February, as Cinema Hades returns to the vibrant independent cinema in the heart of East London with an eclectic line up of exciting new short films.

A film club run by filmmakers for film lovers, The London Film Club Sunday Screenings connects great short films with an audience, showcasing talent and a diverse engaging programme of films for an audience passionate about great filmmaking.

The second edition features both animated and narrative short films, including the heart-warming animated short Return to Sender, written and directed by Ringling College of Art and Design graduate Cat Bailey, and Patrik Bergh's atmospheric dark comedy The Apology.

An award winning Writer/ Director from London, Patrik Bergh has achieved success in both commercials and short films. Patrik is known for 'Veronique' (2002) starring the little known James Buckley prior to his success in E4 sitcom The Inbetweeners. His latest short The Apology is stylishly shot, capturing a brief but significant encounter between two men as they meet to settle an old score.

A new filmmaker to watch, Anthony Wilks, directs debut mini-thriller Water, a captivating one shot short that plays out in real time.

Also featured on the bill is Kate Herron's multiple award winning comedy short Valentine, Tia Salisbury's supernatural comedy short Allhallowtide and Luke Losey's One Last Dance, the haunting story of three generations of men, of lost love and the intimacy of a dance.

Matthew Baldwin from Cinema Hades, the London based film collective behind the event, notes "We wanted to create an inclusive film club featuring quality curated work that will resonate with audiences. We're passionate about developing the club and making it a staple for the filmmaking community in London." Cinema Hades' own recent work includes The Dark Room (2016) starring Peep Show's David Mitchell which premiered at the London Short Film Festival.

Ollie Lister, director of multiple award winning documentary short 'I Take Photos' which screened at the launch of Sunday Screenings said "Fantastic Event, Fantastic Films & Fantastic Venue... What more could you want."
