After an autumn devoted to work for adults, Little Angel Theatre returns its focus to its young audience with three fantastic shows for Christmas/New Year 2013/2014. Tickets go on public sale 22nd July 2013 for all productions.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS is Little Angel's brand new family musical production. It runs from 16 November to 5 January and is suitable for families and children over the age of 3. Co-written by Ben Glasstone and Tim Kane, it has music and lyrics by Ben Glasstone, who also directs. Design is by Michael Fowkes.

"twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse"..

In Laura's house that is not quite true. There a several creatures stirring. Dad is belatedly stirring the cranberry sauce, her little brother is stirring up trouble and Laura is going stir-crazy. Goodwill to all men seemingly doesn't extend to little brothers in this house.

Inspired by Clement Clarke Moore's classic poem of the same name, THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS is a musical puppet fantasy telling the story of a Christmas wish that comes true, with near disastrous consequences. Featuring singing stockings, riotous reindeer and a Santa on The Edge, this is a new comic musical show from the writer-composer team who created the Little Angel's international hit musical, THE MOUSE QUEEN, and adapted Little Angel's Roald Dahl hit THE GIRAFFE AND THE PELLY AND ME.

DOGS DON'T DO BALLET returns for Christmas after its highly successful run last winter and an extensive tour. Suitable for ages 2-6, DOGS DON'T DO BALLET runs from 11 December 2013 to 2 February 2014.

DOGS DON'T DO BALLET is based on the book written by Anna Kemp and illustrated by Sara Ogilvie and was adapted by David Duffy and Andrea Sadler. David Duffy directs with set and props by Tim Sykes and puppets and costumes by Keith Frederick.

Biff is not like ordinary dogs. He likes moonlight and music and walking on his tiptoes. You see, Biff doesn't think he is a dog; Biff thinks he is a ballerina. The sublime and ridiculous combine in this hilarious story of a small dog with a big personality and even bigger dreams, brought to life using beautiful puppets, well-loved ballet music and dazzling comedy.

SLEEPING BEAUTY IN THE WOOD is a revival of a Little Angel classic, directed by Joy Haynes, Artistic Director of Norwich Puppet Theatre. It runs from 15 January - 23 February 2014 and is suitable for anyone over 3. Originally devised by Joy Haynes, Rachel Leonard and Andrew Nixon, this production is also designed by Joy Haynes with puppets by Jan Zalud.

A long time ago a disgruntled fairy cast a spell that sent the whole world into a spin...

This bold adaptation of the story of Briar Rose by The Brothers Grimm conjures a dreamlike fantasy of palaces and forests, ogres and fairies, princes and babes. This production uses puppets, projections, automata and live music to weave an irresistible magic.
