Thomas Kett's first play, The Cruel Grasp was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and received The Times Critic's Choice two weeks running. His other plays have included The Bellingham Trap, An Unexpected Strangling (Directed by Roxana Silbert) and Acid Hearts was shortlisted at the Croydon and International Playwriting Festival before its premier at The Finborough Theatre.
The Chainsaw Manicure was first performed at the ETC Theatre and later translated into French before running in Paris. Tom has also written for TV and his Theatre-in-Education company Upstage Musical Productions produces original Musical Theatre projects in schools and theatres both in the UK and abroad.
Starring Tamaryn Payne (best known as Hollyoaks series regular Annalise Appleton), Hannah Hawkins and Dan Dawes, this zany, madcap 90's nostalgic comedy marks its first London revival since its premiere at the Etcetera Theatre in 1994 and plays a limited three week run at the Tabard Theatre.
