Juliet - young, smart and sassy - has got herself a fresh start in a new flat. But amidst the boxes, a strange guy is also moving in - and he won't leave... He says the agency has fouled up and her flat is actually his flat.

And as if that's not enough, the really bad thing is that, well, he's actually rather sexy...

Hampstead Downstairs is proud to introduce a new voice to the stage in Peter Souter. His sophisticated and fresh comedy is a modern metropolitan guide to falling in (and out of) love. "A really satisfying, sexy, funny, romantic and very-clever-indeed puzzle of a play " Richard Curtis

The cast is Jo Herbert, Yolanda Kettle, Andy Rush and Leo Staar. Lighting is by David Holmes with music and sound by George Dennis.

Hello/Goodbye is Peter's stage debut following several popular BBC Radio Four plays including Goldfish Girland Puddle. He is the creator of the ITV series Married Single Other and co-wrote the first episode, Deep & Crisp & Even starring Timothy Spall and Natascha McElhone, for the 10 Minute Tales.

Tamara Harvey returns to Hampstead Downstairs following Blue Heart Afternoon by Nigel Gearing in 2011. Her numerous theatre credits include Educating Rita (Menier Chocolate Factory / UK Tour), the critically acclaimed The Kitchen Sink and Sixty-Six Books (Bush Theatre), Whipping It Up (West End) and the hit musicalTell Me On A Sunday by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black (UK Tour).

Hampstead Downstairs is an essential part of Hampstead Theatre and its programming. Under Artistic Director Edward Hall and Executive Producer Greg Ripley-Duggan the smaller studio space has been used to nurture work-in-progress, and the shows are complete as their very small budgets allow. The future of these plays depend solely on the Downstairs audience. Do they like it? What are they saying on twitter and facebook? Three plays so far have gone on to have a strong future - Amelia Bullmore's Di and Viv and Rose is currently playing to sell out houses on Hampstead's Main Stage, Tom Holloway's And No More Shall We Part was critically acclaimed at the Traverse Theatre as part of the 2012 Edinburgh Festival, and Morgan Lloyd Malcom's Belongingstransferred to the West End's Trafalgar Studios.
