Footsbarn Travelling Theatre return to the Exeter Northcott Theatre in September with an imaginative take on Ken Kesey's One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, today 11-13 Sept.

From the company who brought the triumphant Indian Tempest to Exeter in 2012, Cuckoo's Nest will combine puppetry, masks, music and projection to offer their interpretation of this cult novel. Set in an insane asylum, 'Cuckoo's Nest is a riot of emotion: touching, inspiring and a timeless criticism of authority. The show explores the original novel's deeper themes through Footsbarn's creative and distinctive style, offering a unique performance that is at once thought-provoking, funny and deeply atmospheric.

During its colourful 43-year history, Footsbarn Travelling Theatre has travelled the world, bringing together a truly diverse group of performers. Prepare to be enthralled as their talents enrich this timeless tale in a theatrical performance like no other.
