It plays concurrently with the European premiere of a Canadian classic, Maggie and Pierre, about Pierre and Maggie Trudeau, the parents of Canada's new Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, on Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from 19 June-5 July 2016.

The world premiere of a first play by an exciting new playwright, Amy Ng, Shangri-La plays from 12 July-6 August 2016. The season comes to an end with the controversial new Canadian play, the European premiere of Proud by Michael Healey, playing Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from 17 July-2 August 2016.
