Cast Set for Park Theatre's HATCHED 'N' DISPATCHED

An all-star cast is announced today for the world premiere of Hatched 'n' Dispatched, a black comedy set in the industrial north of England by Gemma Page and Michael Kirk.

Hatched 'n' Dispatched will open at Park Theatre in a 4-week season from Tuesday 1 September - Saturday 26 September. Press night is Wednesday 2 September at 7.00pm.

It is 1959 and you are invited to a party. The Needham family have buried Uncle Arthur and christened Baby Clifford in a double booking at the church. As Dorothy-Mavis takes charge of preparations for the after-party, tensions erupt and toxic secrets threaten to destroy her family. But she is not a woman to let family love come between her and social respectability - whatever the cost.

The cast includes: Wendi Peters (series regular Cilla Battersby Brown in Coronation Street, on stage Oh What a Lovely War, Theatre Royal, Stratford East & UK Tour, White Christmas, Dominion Theatre); Diana Vickers (LV in The Rise & Fall of Little Voice, Holly in The Duck House, both Vaudeville Theatre, a semi-finalist on The X Factor); Vicky Binns (Molly Compton in Coronation Street, Ollie in Emmerdale, Martha on two series of The Mill, Lina Lamont in the national tour of Singin' in the Rain); Matthew Fraser Holland, (Mr Protherough in Code of a Killer, ITV); Kevin McGowan (Gerardo Escobar in Death and The Maiden, English Theatre of Frankfurt, Ray Say in The Rise & Fall of Little Voice, Derby Theatre); Wendy Morgan (A Streetcar Named Desire and Phedre at the National Theatre, on film as Cynthia Lennon in Birth of the Beatles, Mollie in Yanks - Evening Standard Award for Most Promising Newcommer; James Wrighton (award-winning co-founder/writer and performer with Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly Perrier) nominated sketch group 'Idiots of Ants'. The 'Ants' have twice toured Australia and New Zealand appearing at the Melbourne & Sydney International Comedy Festivals and winning Best International Act at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival);Danielle Flett (Poppy in Noises Off, The Old Vic & UK tour, Emily in Vera Vera Vera Vera at the Royal Court, Carolyn in Top Boy for Channel 4).
