One of the world's favourite musicals, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, will have audiences of all ages flying high when it lands at the Lyceum Theatre from Wednesday 29 June - Sunday 17 July, starring TV favourites Michelle Collins and Shaun Williamson, with award-winning musical stars Lee Mead and Carrie Hope Fletcher.

Can the loveable but whacky inventor, Caractacus Potts, along with his two children and the gorgeous Truly Scrumptious outwit the bombastic Baron Bomburst who has decreed that all children be banished from his kingdom? What happens when the children are caught and imprisoned with the other youngsters by the evil Child Catcher? Will it all end happily-ever-after? Well, of course it will!

Lee Mead plays Caractacus Potts. Winner of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's Any Dream Will Do, Lee has appeared on stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Wicked and Legally Blonde, as well as playing the role of Ben 'Lofty' Chiltern in BBC One's Casualty. Familiar to audiences for her long standing roles in both EastEnders and Coronation Street Michelle Collins stars as Baroness Bomburst with fellow EastEnders and Extras actor Shaun Williamson as Baron Bomburst/Lord Scrumptious. Truly Scrumptious is played by actor, author, singer/songwriter and social media sensation Carrie Hope Fletcher.

With sensational sets, stunning special effects and a memorable score including Truly Scrumptious, Toot Sweets, Hushabye Mountain and the Oscar-nominated title song Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, this fun-filled Fantasmagorical production promises laughs and magic galore.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is at the Lyceum Theatre from Wednesday 29 June - Sunday 17 July. Tickets can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office in-person, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk and are priced from £26.00 - £48.00 (a transaction fee of £1.50 (£1.00 online) applies to all bookings made at the Box Office, excluding cash).
