BROMANCE to Open UK Tour at Norfolk & Norwich Festival

Bromance, the debut show from all-male circus trio Barely Methodical Troupe, was a standout hit at the 2014 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, stunning audiences and critics and picking up awards. It opened the 2015 London International Mime Festival to sell-out crowds and now, the boys are bringing the show to Norfolk & Norwich Festival with a performance at St. George's Theatre, Great Yarmouth on 9 May.

Packed full of jaw-dropping acrobatics, eye-watering feats of hand-to-hand balancing and a breathtaking Cyr wheel routine, Bromance is a warm and witty exploration of trust, intimacy and male friendships. Directed by Frantic Assembly's Eddie Kaye, it's set to a cool soundtrack of original and found sounds.

Barely Methodical Troupe are right at the heart of a new wave of modern circus. The trio first met at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London and found a fantastic chemistry in their mix of skills: Louis Gift's free running and parkour, Beren D'Amico's martial arts and tricking and Charlie Wheeller's breakdancing and contortion. In 2013, BMT won the first ever Circus Maximus competition and were given an Arts Council award to create their first show - and the phenomenon that is Bromance was born!
