The Pershing Square Signature Center [Ford Foundation Studio Theatre] History

The Ford Studio is an integral component to providing playwrights a safe, supportive environment to explore, take artistic risks, develop their voices, and work. The Ford Studio, which, when used as a performance venue can accommodate up to 90 seats, is equipped with double height ceilings, a full lighting grid, a sprung dance floor, and windows that look out onto Manhattan. True to its Off-Off Broadway beginnings and entrepreneurial spirit, the Ford Studio is available for theatre companies and community members to rent for performances, readings, rehearsals, and more.
