Multiple Helpmann and Green Room Award winners Jacqui Dark and Kanen Breen detonate across the footlights as the Strange Bedfellows, in a debauched and greasepaint-spattered riot of musical abandon, courageously accompanied by musical director Daryl Wallis.
SYDNEY:
The Vanguard, Newtown. Wed April 29 and Sun May 3rd
ADELAIDE:
Adelaide Cabaret Festiva;
Artspace Gallery
June 5-7
Bookings:

Having notched up impressive credentials between them including seasons on Broadway, the Barbican and Vienna State Opera, performances in Hong Kong, New Zealand and the Sydney Opera House and appearances in the Edinburgh and every major Australian Festival, the Bedfellows are hurling their combined assets with shameless abandon at the kaleidoscopic world of cabaret.

Recently profiled in Good Weekend's 'The Two Of Us' (a move which scandalized the opera world and mortified their mothers), their merciless character assassination sets the tone for an evening of dubious ditties, salacious story-telling and shameless one-upmanship.

Climb into bed with this diabolical duo as they take a midnight journey through the mean streets of Kurt Weill's Weimar Berlin, down the dark alleys of neo-glam prog-rock, and into the insidious underworld of their original material. Raunch-laden remixes of your favourites collide with the obscure, the sexy and the downright dangerous as the Strange Bedfellows explode the boundaries of good taste.

UNDER THE COVERS is musical terrorism of the highest order.
