Glen Street Theatre to Present STRIPEY

From Australia's award-winning producer of musical theatre for kids and families comes another toe-tapping, knee-slapping, full on musical adventure live on stage. Stripey - The Eggscellent Adventures of an Emu Chick! comes to Glen Street Theatre next month.

Crikey the emu dad and Shiela the emu mum have 30 emu eggs. To their delight, they all hatch at once. But one of them goes missing...The search is on for the missing emu chick called Stripey! Along the way in their search for Stripey, they encounter an array of lovable Aussie characters such as Fluster the Corella, Bluey the Kanga, Sox's the Joey, Snap, Flatfoot, Strewth and Shuffle the Echidna.

Based on the books written and illustrated by Wendy Binks, Stripey is a cracking adventure adapted for the stage in the well-known, highly skilled style associated with other Garry Ginivan Attractions such as Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch!

With oodles of audience participation, sing-a-long songs and a very cool, hip emu chick, Fair Dinkum Flats will never, ever be the same again!
