The hugely popular BROADWAY UNPLUGGED returns to Sydney. Born as an idea to support the musical theatre industry and to provide a platform for performers to do what they do best - perform in a supportive environment.

BROADWAY UNPLUGGED will be held on Monday 25 February at The Vanguard, Newtown.

The night is comprised of two segments - the first a selection of featured performers (see below) who will open the night. This is followed by 'open-mic'. Open-mic participants have the chance to compete in BROADWAY UNPLUGGED and AussieTheatre's 'Project X', giving them the opportunity to win a featured spot at BROADWAY UNPLUGGED and a fully produced, solo show.

BROADWAY UNPLUGGED believes that Australia has an industry that is rich with talent and aims to support those working in the music theatre industry. It was launched in June 2012 in Sydney and Brisbane and quickly became one of the industries favourite nights out. BROADWAY UNPLUGGED, aims to provide a platform for current artists and the artists of tomorrow. This year the event will expand to Melbourne and Perth.
