Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography

Minor in Dance

A dance major at Ohio University means highly focused study in dance technique, choreography, production and dance academics. Technique provides the physical training to meet technical challenges presented in contemporary choreography. Choreography and dance production build skills in creative problem solving and project management. Dance academics, including pedagogy, kinesiology, history, and world dance strengthen effective communication, global understanding and the recognition of dance and movement study in relation to other disciplines.
