Destined to be performed on the Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre stage, the five-time Tony Award winning musical Man of La Mancha finally fulfills that promise as it is now on stage through Nov. 18. Beef & Boards welcomes Broadway performer and Disney voiceover artist Richard White in the title role of its much-anticipated production.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & McCOY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT are delighted to present the second show of its 2016-2017 season:  Davis Gaines starring in the hilarious comedy LEND ME A TENOR, written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Art Manke.  LEND ME A TENOR will preview on Friday, October 21, 2016 (with a press opening on Saturday, October 22) and run through Sunday, November 13, 2016 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.   

On October 14, 2016 at 8:00PM, The New York Pops, led by Music Director Steven Reineke, launched its 34th season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, celebrating the legacy and timeless works of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe. In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of their landmark production of My Fair Lady, The New York Pops will highlight the songwriting team's iconic collaborations from the Golden Age of Broadway, including selections from Camelot, Brigadoon, Gigi, and Paint Your Wagon. Guest artists Colin Donnell and Laura Osnes of Broadway fame alongside operatic baritone Nathan Gunn will bring these legendary show tunes to life with the full 78-piece New York Pops. The orchestra and soloists will be joined by Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA.

The deeply moving, enchanting new Broadway musical for all ages BIG FISH continues Theatre at the Center's exceptional 25th anniversary 2015 season. With a book by John August and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, BIG FISH is based on the Columbia Pictures film screenplay of the same name by John August and Daniel Wallace's 1998 novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythical Proportions. Artistic Director and multiple Jeff Award-winner William Pullinsi lends his expertise in the first professional locally-produced staging of the beloved musical running now through June 7th at 1040 Ridge Road in Munster. Goodspeed Musicals will transport audiences to beautiful Napa Valley with its production of Frank Loesser's The Most Happy Fella. This all-new production of the beloved musical that Goodspeed sent to Broadway in 1991 will run from September 20 - December 1 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. On Saturday, June 19, Julie Andrews was honored at the Starlight Ball in East Hampton Andrews recently played a sold out concert, 'An Evening with Julie Andrews' at the O2 Arena in the UK on May 8, 2010. 'An Evening with Julie Andrews' saw a night of music from her greatest stage and screen performances, as well as the live narration of the story Simeon's Gift, the best-selling childrens book written by Julie and her daughter, Emma Walton Hamilton (now available). Andrews and Hamilton recently released a second book, A Very Faity Princess. In attendance were special guests Christie Brinkley, Juergen & Anke Friedrich, and Jay McInerney & Anne Hearst McInerney.
