FROZEN: THE MUSICAL serves up a treat for young audiences, thrilled to see their animated heroines come to life. 

Telling the interwoven stories of three men coming home from war, this new work by Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting winner Anna Jordan is directed by Frantic Assembly associate director Neil Bettles and marks the 10th anniversary of Frantic Assembly's award-winning Ignition training programme. The cast includes Jared Garfield, Joe Layton, Jonnie Riordan and Kieton Saunders-Browne.

The Theatre Group at SBCC opens the 17/18 season with Cole Porter's sparkling musical, HIGH SOCIETY, July 12-29 in the Garvin Theatre. 

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF presents William Shakespeare's comedy, Love's Labour's Lost from February 22 - March 24, 2017 in the Margeson Theater. Set in the Roaring Twenties, Love's Labour's Lost will play in repertory with F. The National Theatre's hugely popular adaptation of Ross Collins' much loved children's picture book The Elephantom, about a little girl who is unexpectedly visited by a giant blue ghost-elephant, officially opened this weekend at the New London Theatre where it will run in the daytime until 6 September 2014. The 59th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards were held tonight in London, with Helen Mirren taking home the 'Best Actress' prize for her performance as Queen Elizabeth II inPeter Morgan's THE AUDIENCE. Sundance Institute just presented playwright and Sundance Institute Theatre Lab alum Branden Jacobs-Jenkins with the first-ever Tennessee Williams Award from the Institute's Theatre Program, which supports the development of new work for the stage. Sundance Institute Emeritus Trustee Sally Field presented the honor and accompanying $10,000 grant at the Celebrate Sundance Institute benefit for its Theatre Program last night at Stephan Weiss Studio in Greenwich Village. Roundabout Theatre Company announced the full cast this July for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
