Grace, the acclaimed American play written by Award-winning writer Craig Wright (Mistakes Were Made, "Six Feet Under") and directed by Dexter Bullard (Tracy Letts' BUG), stars Paul Rudd and Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon, with Kate Arrington and seven-time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner. The show begins previews at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street) on Thursday, September 13th, with an official opening night set for Thursday, October 4, 2012. This tale about a slave trader who sees the light and dedicates himself to ending slavery will run through June 10, 2012 at The Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Conn., Goodspeed's home for developing new works. The 57th Annual Obie Awards were given out at a ceremony last night at Webster Hall in Greenwich Village. The awards were presented by acclaimed stage actors Eric McCormack, Grace Gummer, Hugh Dancy, Jonathan Pryce, Justin Bartha, Leslie Odom Jr., Lily Rabe, Michael McKean, Tonya Pinkins, Topher Grace, and Tracee Chimo.
