Just last night, the original Broadway cast of West Side Story visited Carol Lawrence at her current gig, 'Handle with Care' at the Westside Theater. Chita Rivera (who played Anita) and Carol Lawrence (who played Maria) come together again 57 years after the original Tony winning musical hit the great white way in 1957. The Broadway Experience returned for a sixth summer program at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center from July 29th - August 11th. With 22 professional educators from the Broadway community, TBE offered over 60 classes, workshops, lectures, and a performance based second week. TBE also launched a new Pre-Professional level for college age students and invited Sierra Boggess as guest speaker.
