Eastbound Theatre, a division Milford Arts Council, is thrilled to present the final show of its 24th season, the compelling and complex Third, by Wendy Wasserstein, directed by Nancy A. Herman. The show will run June 1 - 17 on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and on Sundays at 2pm at the MAC, 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford, CT. 

The third play in Circle Theatre's 35th anniversary season is Tom Dudzick's backstage comedy, Don't Talk to the Actors. A budding playwright's dreams are swept away into a theatrical nightmare when his play is optioned for Broadway. Mr. Dudzicks's semi-autobiographical tale is bound to be another fan favorite at Circle, like his previous productions Over the Tavern (2005); The Last Mass at St. Casimir's (2007); Hail Mary! (2009); and Miracle on South Division Street (2013).

On 12 May 2015 Billy Elliot the Musical will be celebrating ten years in the West End. The musical received its world premiere at the Victoria Palace Theatre in March 2005 with opening night on 12 May 2005 and has now been seen by over 10 million people worldwide, including 5 million at its London home.

Maine State Music Theatre's third show of the 2009 season is the delightfully deceptive 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.' This Tony Award winning musical is based on the film of the same name and includes music and lyrics by David Yazbek, composer and lyricist of 'The Full Monty', and a book by Jeffrey Lane. In addition to the familiar story line, the musical boasts witty lyrics with a side of harmless adult humor.

DesiLit presents the third Kriti Festival, a celebration of South Asian and diaspora literature and arts, to be held June 11-14, 2009, at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and Roosevelt University. The four-day Kriti Festival is slated to include participant panels, author readings, writing workshops, publishing and marketing seminars, live performances, and question and answer sessions with literary agents and editors. Desi is a person of South Asian ancestry (living in South Asia or the South Asian diaspora), and kriti is pronounced 'kree-thee.'

MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) officially opened their production of Charles Busch's The Third Story on Monday, February 2nd and BWW was there to celebrate opening night!

On Tuesday March 18, MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, the Tony Award winningmusical lovingly ripped-off from the internationally famous comedy team's most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail,celebrated its third anniversary at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th St.).
