It is reasonable, with the Cleveland Orchestra playing its annual 'Salute to America' at Blossom, just yards away, and POTUS going through what appears to be his childhood dream of having tanks, planes and fireworks light up the nation's capital for its birthday, that Porthouse Theatre get into the mood by staging 'Tintypes,' a musical revue with almost fifty patriot songs.

Underscore Theatre Company is pleased to present its 4th annual CHICAGO MUSICAL THEATRE FESTIVAL, created to showcase and support the growing field of musical theatre creators from Chicago and beyond. This year's Festival, featuring full productions of seven new musicals plus two staged readings, will play February 5 - 25, 2018 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Each full production will receive at least four performances during the Festival. Single tickets are currently available at www.cmtf.org. The press "Sneak Preview," featuring a sampling of songs from the 2018 Festival, is Monday, February 5 at 8 pm.

Mint Theater presents Fashions For Men by Ferenc Molnar, starring Mark Bedard, Joe Delafield, Jeremy Lawrence, Rachel Napoleon, Annie Purcell, Kurt Rhoads, Michael Schantz, Maren Searle, John Seidman, Jill Tanner, John Tufts, and Gabra Zackman. Performances began February 3rd and continue through March 29th. Opening Night is set for Sunday March 1st (7pm) at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street).
