Meredith Baxter and Sharon Lawrence star in this deeply moving and thought-provoking story about how the political divide tears apart an American family. Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Glengarry Glen Ross, a hard-hitting portrait of cut-throat office politics and BCP's first foray into the world of David Mamet. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Glengarry Glen Ross features sharp dialogue, compelling characters and strong social commentary. Under the direction of Alyson Cohn of Wyckoff, Glengarry Glen Ross will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from March 26th through April 16th, 2011 with shows at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. It was announced earlier this month that the new musical VANITIES will receive an original cast album. The three-woman cast of the show, which recently performed its New York premiere Off-Broadway at Second Stage Theatre, headed into studio yesterday to record the album for Sh-K-Boom Records.

Broadway Artists Alliance, the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers, presented their annual Winter Musical Theatre Workshop February 14th through 16th. Michael Cerveris, currently starring in Hedda Gabler, surprised the students with a visit. Seth Rudetsky moderated the Q&A.
