Fruit Wine Productions has announced the extension of The Broads’ Way starring “RuPaul’s Drag Race’s” Ginger Minj with Gidget Galore through Sunday, February 4 at Mercury Theater Chicago’s The Venus Cabaret, 3745 N. Southport Ave.

Theatre and Dance at Wayne presents Pearl Cleage's uplifting play A Song For Coretta, November 6-16, 2014 at The Studio Theatre. Set in Atlanta in 2006, A Song for Coretta chronicles five African American women and their shared experience as they mourn and celebrate the legacy of the great civil rights activist Coretta Scott King. Taproot Theatre's annual holiday production will go on despite the October 23 fire. Taproot Theatre brings the hit play It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play back to the stage as it holds its holiday production at the Stage One Theatre at North Seattle Community College.

The cast of 'Lestat' in the studio recording their cast album, May 22. The album is set to release in July, with Hugh Panaro, Carolee Carmello, Allison Fischer, Jim Stanek, and Drew Sarich.
