Broadway veteran Michael Ball will release a new studio album, also titled 'Both Sides Now' in addition to launching a UK tour in spring 2013. Both the tour and the album will comprise of 2 halves, encompassing Michael's biggest hits from both his recorded and stage careers including 'Suddenly' from the new film version of LES MISERABLES and 'The Perfect Song' by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Actors' Playhouse will cap off the 2011 - 2012 Mainstage Season with the world premiere of Real Men Sing Show Tunes...and play with puppets, with book, music and lyrics by Paul Louis and Nick Santa Maria. A song-filled comedy for mature audiences, about real men behaving like real men, this manly musical revue will hit the Miracle Theatre from July 11 - August 12, 2012. This year's ball resembled 'traditional Viennese balls' and featured debutantes and classical music. In addition, the ball will open with a fashion show by Diane Von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole. The Life Ball will be followed by an AIDS conference in Vienna, which will run from July 18 to July 23. Yesterday evening, Love took the stage of the Nederlander Theatre to join the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET in the special encore. Love has been hailed as one of the greatest singers in pop music starting with her first number one recording, 'He's A Rebel,' through her string of label hits with legendary producer Phil Spector, including 'Da Doo Ron Ron,' 'He's Sure The Boy I'm Gonna Marry,' and 'Christmas Baby Please Come Home.' Love was recently nominated for the third time to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
