Today, the Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciarán O’Reilly, Producing Director) announced two productions for their Spring 2022 season. The New York Premiere of Belfast Girls by Jaki McCarrick (The Naturalists) and directed by Nicola Murphy (A Girl Is A Half-formed Thing) will run May 11-June 26, 2022 on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage, with an opening night set for May 19, 2022. Two by Synge, by John Millington Synge and directed by Charlotte Moore (The Streets of New York), will run April 13-May 22, 2022 on the W. Scott McLucas Studio Stage, with an opening night set for April 24, 2022.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company is continuing its Dr. Greta McCormick Coger Literary Salon Series on Sunday, November 8 with an exploration of the Literary Renaissance of the Emerald Isle and its mystical Aran Islands.

Shakespeare & Company presents August Strindberg's dark comedy Creditors, adapted by critically acclaimed playwright David Greig and directed by Nicole Ricciardi of last season's hit show 4000 Miles. In this production of what Strindberg calls his 'most mature work,' three characters must face their past, confronting love, debt, and deception. Performances run from July 19 - August 12 in the Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre.

But comfort soon turns to destruction as old wounds are opened, insecurities are laid bare and former debts are settled in this fierce and funny tale of obsession, honor and revenge.
