The comprehensive schedule of events highlights Ireland's rich cultural legacy and its major footprint in the fields of theater, literature, music, and dance. Taking place in the living memorial to President John F. Kennedy, the nation's most well-known Irish-American President and the first sitting President to visit Ireland, the festival is also part of a yearlong celebration at the Center marking the centennial of JFK's birth. Pixilated Plays announce the UK premiere of Richard Molloy's The Separation, set in the build-up to Ireland's historic divorce referendum of 1995. Following a run at Dublin's Project Arts Centre in June 2014, the play will move to Theatre503 from 27 January until 21 February 2015, with a press night on 30 January. The Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciaran O'Reilly, Producing Director) presents its first production of 2016, THE BURIAL AT THEBES written by Irish Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney, based on Sophocles' Antigone.  Directed by Charlotte Moore, THE BURIAL AT THEBES will now star two-time Emmy Award-winner and Tony nominee Larry Bryggman (Proof, Picnic, "As the World Turns") as Creon, The King of Thebes (who replaces the previously announced John Cullum), and Rebekah Brockman (seen as Nettie on the acclaimed Cinemax series "The Knick") as Antigone.  THE BURIAL AT THEBES will be performed Thursday, January 14 - Sunday, March 6, 2016. Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre announces the cast for the third production of its 27th theatre season, a revival of Hugh Leonard's classic memory play, DA. Directed by Charlotte Moore, DA will feature a cast that includes Sean Gormley, Kristin Griffith, John Keating, Nicola Murphy, Paul O'Brien, Ciaran O'Reilly, Adam Petherbridge and Fiana Toibin. Wayward Productions is pleased to announce complete casting for the May 20th opening of Sean O'Casey's The Plough and the Stars. Wayward ensemble members Jill Oliver and Megan See (Burn the Black Dog) return, along with newest ensemble member Laura Reitsma (The Living Room at Stage 773) in Wayward's first production of 2016. Eric Loughlin, Tony Jaksha and Jasonn Rose (Burn the Black Dog), are joined by Christopher Marcum (Richard III) and Riso Straley (Bonfire, Space Fight) in returning to the Wayward stage. Wayward is joined for the first time by Allison Cain (Lifeline Theatre), Angie Martinez and Johnny Moran (Factory Theater).
