National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced the line-up of new musicals for their 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2021. This year, NAMT ‘s Festival of New Musicals will be presented as a unique digital and in-person hybrid, allowing wider accessibility for attendees.

FURIOUS FOLLY, created by Mark Anderson, takes place as night falls in a no-man's land on the battle front. Audiences of up to 2,000 people per night find themselves immersed within an open-air collage of sound, light, pyrotechnics and performance. Commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK's arts programme for the First World War centenary, FURIOUS FOLLY is one of 27 new commissions exploring how the Great War has impacted on the society we live in now.

Experiments in Opera -- the composer-driven collective with an air of mad scientists in the lab -- opens its 2015-16 season with the premiere of 11 new commissions for ensemble and voice in The Travel Agency is On Fire: Burroughs Cuts Up the Great Bards, presented Today, October 16, 2015 at the East Village avant-garde haven The Stone. Two sets take place at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Each set features different songs.

'Ninety-seven percent of the public believe what they're told, and what they're told is what the other chap's been told - and the fellow who told him read it somewhere,' announces marketing maven Ambrose Peale to would-be businessman Rodney Martin in 'It Pays to Advertise.' The Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents this screwball comedy from tonight, September 19 through October 13, with an 8:00 p.m. curtain. It is the usual Wednesday through Saturday schedule, except there is no show on Wednesday, October 3, and an added show on Sunday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. On Wednesday, September 19 is an after-show opening night party at Aleathea's Restaurant at The Inn of Cape May, 7 Ocean Street, where patrons have the opportunity to mingle with actors and fellow theater lovers while indulging in complimentary hors d'oeuvres. There is an after-show Q&A with the cast and director on Friday, September 28, and on Friday, October 12, is an American Sign Language interpreted performance.
