On February 25th, The Color Purple reaches its 100th performance at the Broadway Theatre

EVITA, one of the world's greatest musicals, returns to London's West End after 21 years this summer. Directed by the award-winning Michael Grandage and featuring lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the brand new production of the smash-hit stage show has its Press Night at the Adelphi Theatre on June 21st.

The Color Purple, began previews at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) on November 1st and opens tonight, December 1st, 2005.

On a break from rehearsals, Secret Garden Concert cast members, Laura Benanti, Will Chase, Max von Essen, Steven Pasquale and Jaclyn Neidenthal spent a day in the park with Director Stafford Arima.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned that Rescue Me's Steven Pasquale has been cast in the leading role of Archie in the upcoming concert of The Secret Garden, and Will Chase will be replacing Terrence Mann as Neville.

On October 23rd at 9:30PM, at Joe's Pub, Broadway favorite and New Orleans resident, Bryan Batt hosted a concert benefiting the victims of Hurricane Katrina. With Love, From Broadway to the Bayou's proceeds went to The Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana.
