Coyote REP has announced that RATED M FOR MATURE by Greg Ayers, a play that was featured in Coyote REP's 2010 Works-in-Development Series, will now be featured in The New York International Fringe Festival's Encore Series! After a successful run in this year's FringeNYC, Rated M for Mature was selected from among nearly 200 FringeNYC productions to move into the SoHo Playhouse for Encores. This will be the third musical he has directed since he began his tenure at The Rep following last season's hit Next to Normal and Cabaret from his first season. With the selection of Assassins for the 2012/13 Season, Milwaukee Repertory Theater shows its commitment to continuing to produce full-scale musicals as part of its repertoire. The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Patrick Willingham) announced today that FUN HOME, a new musical with music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, will open the 2012-2013 season of the Public Lab, a program designed to connect audiences and artists in the process of creating new theater. Directed by Sam Gold, FUN HOME is based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel and will run Wednesday, October 17 through Sunday, November 4 in The Public's Shiva Theater. Whoopi Goldberg to Return to GLEE; Larsen, Newell to Also Recur

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whoopi Goldberg will appear in the fourth season of GLEE as a 'special guest star,' reprising her role of Carmen Tibideaux, dean of the fictional New York Academy of Dramatic Arts.
