ANNIE, the new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, went into rehearsal today in New York City with its full company. The production begins previews October 3, 2012 and opens November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Meet the full cast below!

Producers Hal Luftig and Scott Sanders announced today the official opening night and first preview dates as well as the public on-sale date for the new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark musical EVITA. The show will open on Broadway Thursday, April 5, 2012 at The Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway), previews begin Monday, March 12, 2012 and tickets go on sale this Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM via www.ticketmaster.com / 1-800-745-3000.

Broadway In Chicago along with producers DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. launched the First National Tour of SHREK: The Musical in Chicago on July 13, 2010. Chicagoan Eric Petersen leads the Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning SHREK as it plays a limited eight week engagement in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.). Beginning last night, June 15, Broadway favorite Sutton Foster lauched her debut, two-week engagement at the Caryle. Playing through Saturday, June 26 Sutton Foster makes her Cafe Carlyle debut in a program entitled 'Sutton Foster at The Carlyle.' BroadwayWorld was on hand to celebrate at the conclusion of the concert and brings you coverage below.

Tony Award winner Sutton Foster performed her solo show 'An Evening with Sutton Foster' at the Kirk Douglas Theatre on April 29 and 30. Foster was accompanied by her Musical Director Michael Rafter. Songs for the evening were drawn from her critically-acclaimed debut solo album Wish and from the stage roles that have helped make her famous, such as Thoroughly Modern Millie and The Drowsy Chaperone.

The enchanting musical romantic comedy, 'She Loves Me,' with all the grace and spirit that established it as one of the all-time great Broadway classics, will begin Westport Country Playhouse's 80th anniversary season runs through May 8.

At one time, it was the longest running show in Broadway history. It has a name that everyone instantly recognizes. And it is a show that the whole family can enjoy. Coming this summer to Frederick is Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats. Continuing Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 15th Anniversary Season, Cats will open Friday evening, June 19th following WOB's regional theatre premiere production of the musical comedy The Wedding Singer.

Previews are now underway at Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) for the New York premiere of Our House, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (The Butterfly Collection and Bad Dates at Playwrights Horizons, Broadway's Mauritius, co-author of Omnium Gatherum). A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

Tony Award-winners Philip Bosco, Jim Norton and Ruben Santiago-Hudson, as well as Cheyenne Jackson, Kate Baldwin, and Jeremy Bobb star in Finian's Rainbow, the final production of New York City Center's 2008-09 Encores! season, running from March 26 - 29. Finian's Rainbow has music by Burton Lane, lyrics by E.Y. Harburg and book by E. Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy and will be directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle with music direction by Rob Berman. The musical will play five performances at City Center (West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues).

THE QUIET MAN TALES, a riveting new play presented by Libby Adler Mages (Mavin Productions II), Tony D'Angelo and Smock Alley Theater Company, will make its world premiere at The Chicago Theatre Downstairs, 175 N.
