The Visit - Broadway Tickets, News, Info & More

based on the play Der Besuch der alten Dame (The Visit) by Friedrich Dürrenmatt

Claire was driven from her hometown in disgrace when she was 17, betrayed by her lover. Many years (and seven husbands) later, she returns (beautifully dressed, but with a wooden leg) to her now-impoverished stomping grounds and offers to save the town. The price? Nothing less than the life of Schell.

Kirk Nugent Institute Releases 'Answer The Call'
by Christina Mancuso - Jul 30, 2014

Kirk Nugent is a critically acclaimed, and highly regarded poet and inspirational speaker. His unique perspective on life have deemed him 'The People's Poet,' because he challenges preconceived notions about the way in which social norms are developed, how change can be ignited, and about what success looks like. For the last decade Nugent has been traveling the world training and speaking at Fortune 500 companies, at empowerment workshops and seminars, on college campuses, and to church congregations. During this timeframe he continued to write original works of poetry, inspired by the challenges he met along the way-which is now released in his latest publication 'Answer The Call.' 'Answer The Call' is Nugent's sequel to his first poetry publication, 'The Unpopular Truth' published in 2001. This latest publication is a culmination of poetry written between 2001 and 2012-and contains universal truths that can be applied to anyone looking to expand their consciousness, and amplify their connection with the divine. Kirk offers guidance and spiritual techniques to help you learn to feel and express love and benevolence and to encourage you to change your behavior to ensure a more fulfilling life. 'Regardless of our culture, our ethnicity, our gender, or our beliefs-there are common threads that run through all of humanity. We can all be a catalyst for lasting positive change-in our personal lives, professional lives, within our community, and within the world. It is Nugent who has inspired me to achieve my full potential.' Jennifer B. Mount Pleasant, MI. 'Answer The Call' highlights why Nugent has been coined 'The People's Poet.' He uses his words to challenge self-imposed boundaries-and to get back to the basics of the forgotten and underutilized facts of life. Nugent encourages his readers to take full responsibility for their lives and gently moves them from the consciousness of victim to victor. 'We are a remarkable presence on earth, we are beings of light who have great potential-if we choose to capture and fulfill our greater purpose.' Paul N. Dallas, TX. 'Answer The Call' is available in paperback at Amazon.com. To learn more about 'The People's Poet' and motivational speaker Kirk Nugent, or to book a speaking engagement please visit his website at http://www.kirknugent.com.
