The new independent film TAKE CARE stars Leslie Bibb and Thomas Sadoski. Since 1998, Sadoski has been one of the most reliable performers in the New York theatre community, being seen in world premieres by Lucy Thurber, Rajiv Joseph, Neil LaBute, and and Jon Robin Baitz, amongst many others. He earned a Tony-nom for REASONS TO BE PRETTY, and Obie and Lucille Lortel Awards for the original Off-Broadway production of OTHER DESERT CITIES.

In 2003, she sang "I Saw Three Ships" on BROADWAY'S GREATEST GIFTS: CAROLS FOR A CURE, VOLUME V, and left her fans longing for a Christmas/holiday album. Finally, in 2014 our holiday wishes came true when Warner Brother's Records released her mirthfully charming HOLIDAY WISHES.

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, with book by John Cameron Mitchell and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask, continues its in-your-face freshman run on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre. The production won four 2014 Tony Awards and numerous other accolades, but the musical had much humbler beginnings before becoming the cult phenomenon it is today. Signature Theatre presents Elmer Gantry, a musical version of Sinclair Lewis' best-selling novel, directed by Signature's Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). Schaeffer collaborated on the last production of Elmer Gantry at Marriott's Lincolnshire Theatre in Chicago with authors John Bishop (book), Mel Marvin (music) and Bob Satuloff (lyrics) in 1998; the show has not been produced since then. This will be the 5th production in the show's history. Running in the MAX Theatre today, October 7 - November 9, Signature's production will include several brand new songs by Mel Marvin and Bob Satuloff and a reimagined script that John Bishop worked on until his death in 2006.

Mad Cow Theatre Presents, Wesley Slade in THE WHO'S TOMMY - October 3-November 2. Come on the Amazing Journey for this mind-expanding tale of the world's first Pinball Wizard-turned-Messiah. The Who's Tommy started out in 1969 as a double-album and was an instant hit with critics and fans. The rock opera then went on to spawn a film in 1975 and the Tony Award-winning Broadway version in 1992. The original album has sold over 20 million copies world-wide and was inducted to the Grammy Hall of fame in 1998.

Kevin Adams won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Lighting Design of a Musical for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. This is Kevin Adams's sixth Tony nomination. He won Tony Awards for his lighting designs of Spring Awakening (2007), The 39 Steps (2008), and American Idiot (2010).

Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble, announced today the final additions to the lineup for Pulitzer Fest, a festival of play readings celebrating Pulitzer Prize-winning plays, featuring Labyrinth Theater Company Members and Guest Artists. Five plays will be presented over the course of one week, followed by additional free play readings on the weekend, including Harvey, How I Learned to Drive, They Knew What They Wanted, and more. The third play in MALIBU PLAYHOUSE's 2013-2014 season will be The Vortex by Noel Coward, opening Friday, April 11, 2014. The play will be directed by Artistic Director Gene Franklin Smith and stars Shannon Holt and Craig Robert Young.
