One of Brazil's oldest acapella singing groups Trio Esperança will release their latest album Trio Esperança - De Bach à Jobim on May 18. The New York Choral Society presents "Vive la France" on February 28 at St. Bartholomew's Church at 2:00PM. This program of lush choral music - conducted under the baton of Music Director John Daly Goodwin - will warm and comfort the senses, as it comprises works by two of France's most important composers of the twentieth century, Francis Poulenc's Quatre Petites Prieres de Saint Francois d'Assise and Litanies a la Vierge Noire and Maurice Durufle's Requiem.

The Gretna Theatre has announced their 2010 summer season. Productions will include Nunsense starring Sally Struthers, The Marvelous Wonderettes, The Will Rogers Follies, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Peter Pan, Mr. Hobbs' Vacation, and Mame. The season will begin with Nunsense, opening June 3rd.

The 79th consecutive season of the Metropolitan Opera Saturday Matinee Radio Broadcasts launches on December 12, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. EST with a live performance of Puccini's Il Trittico, starring Patricia Racette singing all three leading soprano roles. Mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe also appears in the Puccini triple-bill.
