Christine Baranski, Irina Dvorovenko, Shonn Wiley to Star in ON YOUR TOES

Christine Baranski, Kelli Barrett, Walter Bobbie, Jeremy Cohen, Dalton Harrod, Randy Skinner, Shonn Wiley, Karen Ziemba,New York City Ballet Principaldancer Joaquin De Luz and American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Irina Dvorovenkowill star in Rodgers and Hart's On Your Toes, the final Encores! presentation of the 2012-13 New York City Center season. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, On Your Toes will have guest music direction by Encores! founding music director Rob Fisher and will play seven performances, from May 8 - 12 at New York City Center, W. 55th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). The "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" ballet, originally choreographed by George Balanchine, will be staged by Susan Pilarre, who served as a Ballet Mistress of the show's 1983 Broadway Revival.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present a new production of Bertolt Brecht's THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE featuring Christopher Lloyd (Azdak), directed by Brian Kulick (who directed Brecht's Galileo last season), and featuring new music by Tony Award-winning singer/songwriter Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening). THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE will begin performances Friday, May 3 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 9. The official opening is Thursday, May 30. Tickets are now on sale.

Muse Entertainment, in association with ABC Family, will begin production this week on the new original Thanksgiving movie "Home Again" (working title). Jennie Garth ("Beverly Hills, 90210," "What I Like About You") and Cameron Mathison ("Dancing with the Stars," "All My Children," "Good Morning America") will star in the movie, which is set to premiere as part of the network's annual "Countdown to 25 Days of Christmas" programming event in November, 2013. Also cast in the movie is Mary Kay Place ("The Big Chill," "The West Wing," "Big Love").

Starring Drake Bell (Drake & Josh) and Daniella Monet (Victorious), A Fairly Odd Christmas follows Timmy Turner as he travels around the world granting kids' wishes. When his good intentions get him in trouble with Santa Claus and land him on The Naughty List, Timmy must find a way to save Christmas before it's too late. The TV movie is executive produced by Nickelodeon hit-maker Butch Hartman and is based on his Emmy Award-winning animated series The Fairly OddParents.

In October, 1998, a 21 year old man was kidnapped, severely beaten and left to die in the middle of a prairie outside Laramie, Wyoming, because he was gay. His name was Matthew Shepard. Stage Door Inc. will be performing this beautiful and moving piece and has partnered with the Matthew Shepard Foundation to collect donations during the run of the show. The Laramie Project opens on the 13th Anniversary of Matthew Shepard's tragic death, Friday, October 12, 2012 and runs, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 3:00pm, through November 4, 2012.

The captivating story of a friendship that spans a lifetime, Rome at the End of the Line (Roma al Final de la Via), written by Daniel Serrano and directed by Alberto Lomnitz, opens tonight, Sept. 15 for a limited run through Oct. 7 in a co-production with Mexico's Viaje Redondo Producciones. All performances will be in Spanish with English supertitles and are appropriate for ages 12 through adult.
