On Thursday 8 October 2015, the West End production of 'LES MISERABLES' at the Queen's Theatre continues to make history as it celebrates its 30th anniversary with a very special performance starting at 7.00pm. 450 tickets for this performance will be available to the fans through a mobile lottery and a charity auction to raise money for the Save the Children Syria Children's Appeal. Salford tenor Russell Watson is said to be soon taking on the role of Jean Valjean. In discussing the part with the Evening Standard, Watson stated, 'I went to see Cameron Mackintosh about doing LES MISERABLES. We've had a good chat about that. It's something I'd like to do. It would give me a huge amount of satisfaction to play a role like Valjean. I would do it in the West End, towards the end of 2014.'
