A fourth season has been ordered for Disney Channel's 'Good Luck Charlie,' a hugely popular family sitcom that recently delivered the #1 cable telecast of the week (8.9 million, L+7 data) and the #1 telecast of the entire second quarter 2012 among Kids 6-11 (4 million, L+7 data) and Tweens (3.7 million, L+7 data). The announcement was made today by Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide. The series presents authentic, kid-relatable stories told from the young characters' POV yet more nuanced towards the family. The third season storyline recently introduced a newborn baby into the Duncan household.

The MainStreet Theatre Company has announced its 2012/2013 season of high quality professional productions for children and families. Once again the company will produce three distinctly different productions for a variety of age groups at the 536 seat Lewis Family Playhouse. The Huntington Theatre Company's production of Huntington Playwriting Fellow Kirsten Greenidge's The Luck of the Irish closed yesterday as the highest grossing and attended Huntington world premiere at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA since the fall of 2004. The Luck of the Irish played for a total of 41 performances from March 29 through May 6, including a one-week extension due to popular demand that was announced on April 13. Ticket demand for The Luck of the Irish was so high that an advanced waiting list was introduced in April and final extension performances were sold out.

The added performances are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 1 - 3, at 7:30pm; Friday, May 4 at 8pm, Saturday, May 5 at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday, May 6 at 2pm. Martell Foundation announced today that a live performance by pop phenomenon Cody Simpson will round out this year's star-studded 13th Annual Family Day line-up which includes Train, Cobra Starship and Nickelodeon's 'Victorious' star and Universal Republic recording artist Ariana Grande.
