A new play directed by the renowned Colombian Director Jorge Al Triana, starring Germ n Jaramillo and Zulema Clares. The production marks the second work of Repertorio Espa ol's 50th Anniversary Season. Previews begin on February 23rd and the premiere will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018

This marks the first time that all three films have been screened together in North America. Solntseva is the first female director to win Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival, a feat not repeated until Sofia Coppola won the same award for Beguiled this year. Yuliya Solntseva's Ukrainian Trilogy will be shown August 26 and 27.

Sharon Playhouse has announced complete casting for its 2017 Season. The season kicks off with MINOR CHARACTER: SIX TRANSLATIONS OF UNCLE VANYA, created by New Saloon (Morgan Green, Madeline Wise, and Milo Cramer), followed by FAR AWAY by Caryl Churchill (Love and Information). The season will conclude with a new, intimate chamber production of Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN. In a shift that begins this season, Morgan Green (William Shakespeare's Mom) will direct all three productions, showcasing the talents and range of the rising director.

 The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as The New York Musical Theatre Festival, announced today the initial lineup for NYMF 2016. Among the shows announced in the lineup are the Next Link Project musical selections, as well as invited production selections, developmental reading selections, and concerts. It is what he calls 'a complete, unvarnished, and rounded portrait of the young manhood and education of a white American male, Rick Stevens, in a mid-western state. It depicts his good qualities as well as his bad ones-his 'warts.'

Sometimes a flop Broadway show is better appreciated after closing, and may even return as a hit!
