The holiday season is approaching with promises of hits like 'Spring Awakening' getting in the words of its producers a 'muted opening the Lyric ('we don't DO New York hype here!')Theatre in South London and the London opening of David Hare's 14th new play 'Gethsemane' in November. This UK based play more than any other resonates with modern US politics with its themes of greed, party funding, the media etc. It exposes the way in these cruel and lean times business, media and politics are now too intertwined to nobody's real advantage!
