3 MO' DIVAS' Is Awarded Its First PBS TV Special, Starts 3/1

After receiving rave reviews and playing to sold out audiences & standing ovations in over 200 performances, Marion J. Caffey's 3 Mo' Divas (www.3MoDivas.com) has been awarded its first PBS television special. '3 Mo' Divas (Smashing Musical Barriers)' will air nationally March 1st-10th and June 1st-15th. (check local listings for exact dates and times). In celebration of the PBS Special, 3 Mo' Divas will also release their debut CD 'Smashing Musical Barriers' on March 1st and a Hi-Def & Blu-Ray DVD recording of the PBS special on May 12th. 3 Mo' Divas brings down the house with thrilling performances of an amazing 10 styles of music, including Opera, Broadway, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Soul, Disco, Rock & Roll, Spiritual & Gospel. The show begins with the classical sounds of Puccini then segues into songs from hit Broadway musicals like Wicked, Ragtime and Rent. This is soon followed by hot and familiar tunes of Billie Holiday, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner. By the end of every performance, the Divas have audiences up out of their seats rockin', singing and dancing in the aisles. 3 Mo' Divas is an extraordinary musical event - all music, all passion and all fun. 3 Mo' Divas performs 10 styles of music, spanning 233 years and sung in 3 languages.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its 10th Anniversary season with the debut engagement of acclaimed jazz singer JANE MONHEIT. Her new show - which celebrates the release of her new Concord Records CD 'The Lovers, The Dreamers and Me' - runs from January 20 to February 7 at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

The musical is being produced by Paul Lambert, Jonas Neilson and Whoopi Goldberg.

Betty Buckley Kicks Off Hanover Theatre's First Full Season

The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester launches its first full season on Saturday, September 20th, with a bona fide Broadway Baby, Tony Award-winner Betty Buckley in concert with her quartet. Headed by long-time collaborator, renowned jazz pianist Kenny Werner, they will be joined by Tony Marino on bass, Billy Drewes on reeds, and drummer Anthony Pinciotti in a program featuring selections from Ms. Buckley's two recent CD releases, as well as songs she is known for from the Great White Way. The Hanover's 2008-2009 calendar will feature touring productions of Movin' Out, Cats, Annie, and Chicago, as well as an eclectic mix of music, comedy, dance, and special attractions for the whole family.

An Interview with Isabel Rose

As an actress, Isabel Rose starred both off-Broadway and regionally in Beau Jest and played the role of Tess Kittridge in the national tour of Six Degrees of Separation with Marlo Thomas. In addition, she co-wrote and starred in the successful 2003 film 'Anything But Love,' opposite Andrew McCarthy and Eartha Kitt. The film won Audience Awards and Best Film awards at numerous festivals; Rose even picked up the Best Up and Coming Actress award. She performs frequently all over New York City, selling out Joe's Pub, Opia, Makor and Helen's. Rose is working on her debut CD, 'Boy Wanted,' which is due out in stores this October. Now, this multi-talented performer can add author to her many credits and talents. Her first novel, The J.A.P. Chronicles, was published in May, 2005; the paperback is due out on May 9th. Not only did she write this novel, but has turned it into a musical, composed the music and adapted the lyrics from the book. The result is J.A.P. Chronicles, the Musical.
