Two-time Emmy(R) winner and 2009 Academy Award(R) nominee Christopher Plummer (The Last Station) will narrate Turner Classic Movies' (TCM) ambitious, seven-part original production MOGULS AND MOVIE STARS: A HISTORY OF HOLLYWOOD. This comprehensive true story behind the making of the American movie industry is being co-produced by TCM and Bill Haber's Ostar Productions. The series is slated to premiere in November 2010.

The New York Philharmonic will present its seventh season of Summertime Classics, with nine themed concerts, conducted and hosted by Bramwell Tovey, June 29-July 10, 2009. Discovery Communications has acquired the global rights to Sarah Palin's Alaska (wt), a new eight-part documentary series about the remarkable Governor Palin and her home state of Alaska. Legendary costume designer ALBERT WOLSKY and world renowned scenic designer MING CHO LEE are among the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, April 23 at 6:30pm at the Hudson Theatre (145 West 44th Street). Two-time Academy Award-winner Albert Wolsky will receive the 2010 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Tony Award-winning scenic designer and educator Ming Cho Lee will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Robert L.B. Alley Theatre's world premiere of the new musical Wonderland will close on Sunday, February 14.

The New York Times today features the newly reborn career of Wes Bentley, star of Classic Stage Company's current production of VENUS IN FUR. Bentley starred in the 1999 hit film 'American Beauty' at the age of 21 and has since taken a hiatus from the entertainment. Bentley's return to acting has come in the form of an off-Broadway play, a role he hopes will put him back in the spotlight.

It takes a trip to a strange-yet-familiar Wonderland for her to regain her life's balance and again find the love and everyday magic that reside in us all - if we know how to look. With a book by Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy (The Civil War), lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlett Pimpernel, The Civil War), and directed by Gregory Boyd, Wonderland begins previews Friday, January 15, opens officially Wednesday, January 20 and runs through Sunday, February 14.
