Based on the novel by Bram Stoker

Before Twilight, before True Blood, only one vampire commanded "the children of the night." In this blood-thirsty tale of unholy terror, Count Dracula slips into Victorian London with the cargo of his native Transylvanian soil - so he can rest between victims. The city seems helpless against his frightful power, and only one man, Dr. Van Helsing, can stop the carnage. But to do this, he must uncover the vampire's lair and pierce his heart with a wooden stake.

With the 2011 season, the Cosmopolitan Cabaret will be shifting its Wednesday and Thursday night curtain times to an audience friendly 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $33 for Wednesday or Thursday evenings or Thursday matinee and $38 for Friday and Saturday evenings or Saturday and Sunday matinees. Two stars of the stage - Kelli O'Hara and Nathan Gunn -will join the New York Philharmonic for an evening of songs and duets from the Golden Age of Broadway, conducted by Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, Monday, March 21, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. Ms. O'Hara, fresh off her highly successful run as Nellie Forbush in South Pacific at Lincoln Center Theater, returns to the New York Philharmonic following two previous appearances, including her acclaimed starring role as Eliza Doolittle in the Orchestra's 2007 production of My Fair Lady. Baritone Nathan Gunn returns after winning hearts as the swashbuckling Sir Lancelot in the Philharmonic's 2008 Camelot production and his featured role in last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert! Official opening is set for January 5, 2011. Emily Bridges, Ms. Birch's understudy, steps into the role of Lucy. Ms. Bridges is the co-author of a stage adaptation of Acting: The First Six Lessons, which she wrote and performed with her father, Beau Bridges. A student at the London Dramatic Academy and Moscow Art Theatre School, she has appeared on stage in Gaslight, The Princess and the Frog, and Happy Hour and the movies Voyage of the Unicorn and The Uninvited.
