Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird has been much in the news of late, what with a brand spanking new Broadway production (written by Aaron Sorkin and which opened this past December) and reports of dozens of productions around the world of the stage adaptation written by Christopher Sergel being shuttered due to threats of legal action from Scott Rudin, producer of the new Broadway version, and attorneys for the Harper Lee estate.

Zac Brown Band, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning group, announced dates for their highly anticipated summer 2019 outing, 'The Owl Tour' earlier today. The tour stops at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Friday, June 21st, located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, NY, and will feature special guest Caroline Jones. The announcement comes as the band prepares to release their new studio album featuring the hit lead single, 'Someone I Used To Know,' which is currently available for streaming and download. Additional album details including release date, track list and artwork are forthcoming.

Following last year's momentous 50th anniversary celebrations, The Isle of Wight Festival today announces the first artists for the 2019 event, which kicks off the British festival season on  13th - 16th June.

Hartford Opera Theater will offer New in November 9, a collection of short operas and opera excerpts. This opera festival will play Sunday, November 18 (7pm) at The Cathedral House at Christ Church Cathedral, 45 Church Street, Hartford, CT. Circle Players continues to celebrate of its 2018-19 season with tonight's opening of Hair, the 1969 tribal love-rock musical that made musical theater history with its premiere 50 years ago. Directed by Jason Lewis and choreographed by Tosha Pendergrast, the eagerly anticipated production features a cast of Nashville's favorite actors, with Nicholas Page as Claude.

The arrival of Creedence Clearwater Revival's 50th anniversary brings an unprecedented celebration of everything the band contributed in their short but startlingly epochal time together (1968 - 1972). Sandy Duncan soared on Broadway in Peter Pan, made a splash in My One and Only, and rocked it as Roxie in Chicago.
