 Wharton Center announces its 2016-2017 presentations - a season that Executive Director Mike Brand calls, "...an amazing lineup of firsts, favorites and homecomings." The season features eight incredible Broadway smash hits in the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center series, including the return of the most requested production in Wharton Center's history - the ever-"Popular" WICKED, flying into East Lansing for the fourth time. Winner of over 100 international awards, including a Grammy® and three Tony® Awards, Wicked is "Broadway's biggest blockbuster" (The New York Times).

Reinforcing the role of The Music Center as a major hub for dance in Los Angeles, The Music Center's powerful new dance season will engage both dance lovers and those new to the art form by challenging preconceived notions of classical ballet and exploring the realm of contemporary expression. The 2016-2017 season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center (Dance at The Music Center) will provide the platform for some of the finest U.S. dance companies and artists along with internationally renowned companies who are among the most requested by Music Center audiences. This coming season opens with Celebrate Forsythe (October 21-23, 2016) as three American ballet companies - San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Houston Ballet - perform in one program in a never-before-seen approach to salute one of America's top choreographers, William Forsythe. The season continues with the distinctive contemporary work of Jessica Lang Dance (February 17-19, 2017); the return of the much-in-demand Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (March 8-12, 2017); the west coast premiere of Scottish Ballet's A Streetcar Named Desire (May 19-21, 2017); Eifman Ballet of St. Petersburg's exploration of the passions of Tchaikovsky (June 23-25, 2017); and an original program curated by New York City principal ballerina Tiler Peck with the return of The Music Center's BalletNow (July 28-30, 2017). A number of the engagements will be integrated with arts education programs including high school performances and teacher workshops. After a landmark year which yielded an unprecedented Centennial Season and the coveted Regional Theatre Tony Award®, Cleveland Play House (CPH) is following up on the heels of the past year's success with a dynamic, stimulating and engaging 2016-17 Season.  CPH staff, led by Artistic Director Laura Kepley, announced the titles of the new season today on the Allen Theatre stage to a full house.  The theme of this season is "moving forward" and audiences will have plenty to look forward to with a season that encompasses history, mystery, comedy, drama and even a brand new Disney musical.  CPH's 101st Season would not be possible without CPH's generous sponsors, donors, patrons, and community partners.

Netflix announced today that they will be serving three new 'courses' of Chef's Table. The first course of six episodes premieres on the streaming service Friday, May 27 followed by four special episodes later in the year dedicated to four of the world's most renowned French chefs, with the third course highlighting another six chefs to release in early 2017.

The Fulton Theatre is thrilled to announce a season bursting with dance, iconic musical theatre heroes, and a music legend in its mainstage offering! The Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series, now in its third season, will offer three selections, including a Pulitzer Prize-winning drama. The popular family series again will offer four shows that are ideal for the entire family. The 2016/2017 season kicks off with the mainstage series on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, with the triumphant Billy Elliot.
