On Thursday, July 9, 2015, BROADWAY SERVES kicked off its summer-long partnership with the Children's Aid Society. Child volunteers from the theater community teamed up with CAS' kindergarten-3rd grade campers to fill and decorate toiletry bags. These toiletries will be donated to formerly homeless residents currently living in an Urban Pathways facility. Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig announced today that Kinky Boots has implemented a new digital lottery, allowing potential audience members to purchase $37 day-of tickets from anywhere.

The Toronto Star writes that the Canadian premiere of the Tony Award-winning KINKY BOOTS, which opened June 28 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, has been extended through November 8, 2015. Tickets for the added six weeks of performances go on sale July 6.

Tony Award winner Cyndi Lauper reveals that her original score for Broadway's KINKY BOOTS was inspired by her son and husband, David Thornton.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, was held earlier today, May 27th in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets. Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including Kinky Boots' Mia Gentile, who performed 'The History of Wrong Guys'!

Tom Viola, Executive Director of BC/EFA, recently joined the cast of KINKY BOOTS in presenting Cyndi Lauper with a "big check" representing the $150,000 donated to TRUE COLORS FUND by BC/EFA from over $1.2 million in resources raised by the show since opening in April 2013. Scroll down for photos!
