Hello! You simply won't believe how much this musical will change your life. From the creators of South Park comes The Book of Mormon, the musical that lovingly breaks all of Broadway's rules. The nine-time Tony-winning musical is collaboration Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez, and was co-directed by Parker and Casey Nicholaw. In The Book of Mormon, Elder Price and Elder Cunningham, a mismatched pair of Mormon missionaries, are sent to a place that's about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get.

BOOK OF MORMON Performance to Benefit Actors Fund, 8/28

The Broadway company of 'The Book of Mormon' has announced that they will add an additional performance to their schedule in order to perform a benefit 'Special Performance' on Sunday, August 28 at 8 pm. All proceeds will go to The Actors Fund.

The new Disney animated feature WINNIE THE POOH was just released in theaters nationwide last week, and composer for the film and BOOK OF MORMON creator Robert Lopez recently chatted with Time Magazine about both projects. When asked about the difficulty of switching from writing for MORMON to POOH, Lopez responded: 'Pretty easy. I'm the type of guy who likes to kind of pad about and look for things to eat. I actually play the part of Pooh's tummy. I'm the uvular trill that's his tummy growl.'

The Original Broadway Cast Recording for THE BOOK OF MORMON is #3 on Billboard's Top 200 albums this week, in figures released by the publication today. THE BOOK OF MORMON is the first Broadway cast recording to break into Billboard's Top 10 since the release of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Hair in 1969, passing the positions of other top-selling cast recordings over the years, such as Dreamgirls, which reached #11 in 1982 and Rent, which reached #19 in 1996. Already the biggest selling digital release of a cast recording of all time, THE BOOK OF MORMON's cast recording is #1 on the digital release chart this week, selling more albums than such artists as Adele and All Time Low.
