Broadway Workshop, the country's top training program for young performers, celebrates their tenth anniversary semester. Since 2007, Broadway Workshop has welcomed thousands of students from around the world to learn from teaching artists comprised of Broadway's biggest names including, Ben Platt, Darren Criss, Sutton Foster, Jonathan Groff, Cynthia Erivo, Christian Borle, Jessie Mueller, Jeremy Jordan, Megan Hilty, Rory O'Malley, Annaleigh Ashford, Javier Muñoz, and many more.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Tony Award winner BLAIR BROWN will join the previously announced EMMA GEER, TATIANA MASLANY and SUSAN POURFAR in the New York Premiere of TRACY LETTS' acclaimed play, MARY PAGE MARLOWE, directed by LILA NEUGEBAUER.

Complete casting has been announced for Charles Busch's return to Theater for the New City (Crystal Field, Executive Artistic Director) in his uproarious new comedy The Confession of Lily Dare, directed by Busch's longtime collaborator Carl Andress (The Tribute Artist, Judith of Bethulia, The Divine Sister).

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) announces the workshop Raising Money for Theater: Who, How, and When to Ask, part of TRU Boot Camps on February 4, 2018 from 10am - 6pm at 151 W. 46th St., 8th Floor, NYC. Duncan Sheik the Grammy and Tony Award-winning artist made his Cafe Carlyle debut last night and BroadwayWorld was there. Sheik launched his career in 1996 with his Grammy nominated self-titled debut album. Sheik is the composer for the critically acclaimed musical Spring Awakening, which went on to win eight Tony Awards in 2007, including awards for Best Orchestrations and Best Original Score. The album earned Sheik a Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.

Full casting has been announced for the West End transfer of Everybody's Talking About Jamie, directed by Jonathan Butterell and written by Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae, which will play a limited season at the Apollo Theatre from Monday 6 November following a critically acclaimed run at Sheffield Crucible.
