Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announce that Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Bob Boyett, will produce the Live Theatre, Newcastle /National Theatre of Great Britain's co-production of THE PITMEN PAINTERS by Tony Award winner Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) with direction by Max Roberts starring the original English company.

While dazzling Key West audiences with her portrayal of Mrs. Muller in'Doubt' last season, Lela fell in love with Key West, and Key West took her into their collective hearts. After hearing of Lela's triumphant appearance at Gable Stage in 'No Child...,' Danny Weathers, artistic director for the Waterfront, scheduled the play for the '09/10 season and is thrilled to have Lela return in this amazing performance. A member of Actors Equity, Lela has won South Florida's prestigious Carbonell Award, and has appeared in such productions as 'In the Continuum,' 'Just A Kiss,' 'Intimate Apparel,' Seven Guitars,' 'Radio Golf' and the recent 'Naked Women Fully Clothed.'

Bleu will star in the show from January 25 - April 25, 2010. Corbin Bleu starred in the Emmy-award winning Disney Channel Original Movie 'High School Musical' and its sequel, 'High School Musical 2' alongside Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale. Bleu plays, Chad , the devoted basketball player and best friend to Troy (Efron). 'High School Musical 2' premiered to 18 million viewers, making it the highest rated Disney Channel Original Movie in history and overall highest rated program in cable history.
