Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Kevin E. Moore are thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for William Shakespeare's bloody tale of unbridled ambition, Macbeth. Directed by Les Waters, Macbeth will preview on October 4 and October 5, open on October 6, and run through October 26 in the Pamela Brown Auditorium as part of the Brown-Forman Series. BWW Review: MACBETH at Actors Theatre Of Louisville

Actors Theatre's current staging of Macbeth is loud, bloody, and glorious. It's far from a definitive take on one of the Bard's finest tragedies, and no doubt some purists will wince at the modern dress and liberties taken with the script-gone is 'double, double, toil and trouble' as well as the entire porter scene- but for this horror movie fan and Halloween junkie, it's hard to imagine a better production. Josh Piven's MUDDLED, A STAGE COMEDY to Play Drexel URBN Annex

New York Times best-selling humorist Josh Piven brings his unique brand of comedy to Philadelphia with the world premiere of Muddled, A Stage Comedy, from June 16 through June 26 at Drexel URBN Annex (3401 Filbert St). Penned by the author of The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook and directed by William Steinberger, Muddled gives theater audiences a best-case scenario for what happens when a group of hot-headed headbangers meet the home-grown hipsters of Brooklyn. In this craft brewed comedy, Piven trades navigating alligator pits for navigating mosh pits, and surviving frostbite for surviving the frosty bite of a quick-witted hipster. McCarter Theatre Center Receives NEA Grant for New Play Development
