Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen has announced the 2017-2018 season roster. A total of 65 dancers make up the Company roster, with 55 in the main company and ten in Boston Ballet II (BBII), Boston Ballet's second company.

It has been almost seven years since El Guincho last performed in New York City. That means the last album New Yorkers experienced live is 2010's Pop Negro, instead of last year's HiperAsia. But thanks to a joint effort between Le Poisson Rouge, CANADA, and promoters Spain Fresh, who celebrate Iberian culture in the city, the curse has been broken: El Guincho is set to perform two nights in a row as part of the Spain-Brooklyn Music Series, a celebration of some of the best independent music from each country.

Artistic Director Bradley Hemmings today announces the full programme for this summer's Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (GDIF), London's leading festival of outdoor theatre and performing arts, which takes place from 23 June to 8 July in locations across Royal Greenwich, Docklands and Tower Hamlets.  It follows the previous announcement in March of eight newly commissioned productions.

The New England Guitar Society's International Performer series concerts will continue with guitarist Marcos Puña on Saturday, April 8th at 8 pm at the Milford Center for the Arts, 40 Railroad Avenue, Milford, CT.  Born in Bolivia, Marcos received multiple first prizes in international competitions, performed throughout the world and released more than five CDs and DVDs. Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present the World Premiere of American Ballet Theatre's new production of Whipped Cream, choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, with sets and costumes by pop-surrealist Mark Ryden. ABT will give seven performances of the full-length work March 15-19, 2017 in Segerstrom Hall.

The show 'Stones' is inspired by 'The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Monument' by Nathan Rapoport (1911-1987). It is performed, without talking, by six actors who sculpture the monument with their bodies and bring life to it in order to face humanity in its eye in its current time.

Caminos Flamencos, under the direction of Emmy Award-winning dancer and choreographer Yaelisa and guitarist Jason McGuire 'El Rubio,' has announced details for a three-city tour with renowned guest artists from Spain, Andres Peña and Manuel Malena. Starting at the Irvine Barclay Theater in Irvine, California on January 21, followed by concerts at the New Vic Theater in Santa Barbara on January 22, and the Brava Theater in San Francisco on January 29, the tour celebrates the end of Yaelisa's decade-plus tenure at the helm of the New World Flamenco Festival in Irvine.
