Peninsula Players Theatre, America's Oldest Professional Resident Summer Theatre and Door County's theatrical icon, will produce the entertaining, Tony Award-winning "The Drowsy Chaperone" July 25 through August 12. This silly, yet smart, musical comedy, featuring music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, will delight audiences with its show-stopping song and dance numbers.

PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now is pleased to announce programming for the seventh annual festival of fresh opera-theatre & music-theatre running January 5-13, 2019, featuring eight presentations that "shift the whole paradigm of what opera is and can be" (New York Observer).

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 13th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. Art Wynwood, the premier winter contemporary art fair presented by Art Miami, returned for its seventh edition at its new location of One Herald Plaza in Downtown Miami on February 15th - 19th where it welcomed more than 25,500 people who admired world-renowned contemporary and modern art from emerging talent, mid-career artists, blue chip, post-war and modern masters showcasing a dynamic array of murals, pop surrealism, street art and other genres.

Following a successful summer run of Aaron Posner's play Life Sucks, Company of Fools' 22nd season of theatre continues this fall with a production of BRIGHT HALF LIFE by playwright Tanya Barfield. Company of Fools' Interim Artistic Director, Ilana Becker, will direct the play, which runs Sept. 27-Oct. 14, 2017, at the Liberty Theatre in Hailey.

Building on the critical success of his 2011 production of Harold Pinter's Old Times, STC Artistic Director Michael Kahn will return to the British playwright's gripping realm of doubt and disquiet to direct a double bill of short plays. The Lover and The Collection will run from September 26-October 29 at the Lansburgh Theatre (450 7th Street NW).

Tickets are now on sale for WAM Theatre's fall Mainstage production of The Last Wife by Kate Hennig, directed by Kelly Galvin. The play premiered at the Stratford Festival in 2015 and enjoyed a completely sold-out and extended run. Performances of this Northeast Regional Premiere production are scheduled for October 13-November 5, 2017, at Shakespeare & Company's Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre, 70 Kemble St, Lenox, MA.

59E59 Theaters welcomes 59E59 favorites Peter & Will Anderson with SONGBOOK SUMMIT, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, George Gershwin and Richard Rodgers. Produced by Reardon-Anderson Music and featuring jazz vocalist Molly Ryan, SONGBOOK SUMMIT begins performances tonight, August 2, for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 27.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau. The Globe is the first regional theatre in the country to mount the play, which was presented here as a reading in the 2014 Powers New Voices Festival before an acclaimed Off Broadway run. San Diego director Delicia Turner Sonnenberg makes her Globe debut to helm the award-winning drama, which is presented in association with San Diego's MOXIE Theatre, where Turner Sonnenberg is Founding Artistic Director.

When Jack, a New York banker, suddenly shows up at his parents' Cincinnati home in the middle of the night with a sack full of ice cream and no wife, his sister Lorna wants to know what's going on. Where's his socialite wife? Is he home for good? And why is he giving away so much money? Theresa Rebeck's (Bad Dates, Dragon 2011) dark comedy examines the conflict between Main Street and Wall Street, flyover state values versus coastal state values, and the humor within a family in turmoil.
