Cabrillo Music Theatre is an Ovation Award Winner and the Resident Musical Production Company at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, the largest theatre between Los Angeles and San Francisco. For over three decades, Cabrillo has enriched life in Southern California, providing extraordinary performing arts through live musical theatre. Cabrillo is a volunteer based non-profit theatre company presenting award-winning musicals with full, live orchestras, lavish sets and costumes, and premier talent. Cabrillo Music Theatre's mission is to introduce the musical theatre experience to socially, culturally, economically diverse, and underserved populations of Southern California. Cabrillo's 2009-2010 Season anticipates reaching more than 100,000 people through our main stage, off-stage, and special productions, as well as our award-winning OUTREACH programs. Since 2005, Cabrillo's OUTREACH programs have included over 27,000 underserved, Title I children, in-need seniors, and active military troops, all free of charge.

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE Award-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present 'THE GERM PROJECT,' featuring the work of playwrights Kara Lee Corthron (directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni), Lynn Rosen (directed by Shoshana Gold), Kathryn Walat (directed by Portia Krieger), and Anna Ziegler (directed by Beatrice Terry). The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). Previews will begin on June 11, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Performances will run through July 9.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre presented Tony Award-winner Daisy Eagan for her return to the New York stage for one night only in her one-woman show, Still Daisy After All These Years. Eagan, who currently resides in Los Angeles, will presented the show on Monday, March 28th at 9:30pm.
The Homecoming closes March 27, 2011, at the American Conservatory Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco).
